GUIDELINES

HOUSE RULES OF THE BUILD FLOOR
SAFETY
→Doors are open Friday 4–11PM and Saturday 8AM–10PM.
→Photo ID at check-in. Badge stays on while you're on-site.
→The venue closes overnight. Please leave by 11PM Friday and return after 8AM Saturday.
CONDUCT
→No alcohol, smoking, or vaping on premises.
→Be respectful to everyone — hackers, mentors, staff, and the space.
→Zero tolerance for harassment. Flag anything to an organizer.
HACK
→AI tools + agents allowed.
→All code must be written or generated by a team member — no outside help.
→Build on-site. Boilerplate and templates are fine; pre-built projects are not.
→Code sharing between teams only if mutually agreed.
→No cheating, no stealing.
TEAM
→Solo or teams up to 4 — meet potential teammates during Friday's optional Learn-a-thon.
→One team per person.
→Demos happen in person — at least one teammate presents.
→Every team picks a captain: the point of contact, accountable for the team's conduct.
